Mastership in Restorative Dentistry

OVERVIEW:
  1. Comprehensive Advanced Training: The Mastership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) is a 4-month intensive program that covers operative, endodontics, and restorative dentistry, designed to enhance skills and knowledge beyond formal dental education.

  2. Elevating Patient Care & Teaching Skills: The program focuses on improving patient care, teaching abilities, and instilling a professional attitude, ensuring participants can offer the highest standards of restorative dentistry.

  3. Hands-on Experience: Participants will gain practical experience in restorative techniques and be fully equipped to expand their clinical services, benefiting both their practice and patients.

  4. Eligibility & Materials: Open to BDS/MDS graduates, with most materials provided by DENTTLY, except for a few items like handpieces and Protapers. A valid State Dental Council registration is required for enrollment.

  • Basic Endodontics (2 days workshop)

  • Fixed Prosthodontics (1 day workshop)
  • Occlusion in Prosthodontics (1 day workshop)
  • Comprehensive Composite Workshop (1 day workshop)
  • Lasers in Dentistry (1 day workshop)
  • Minor Oral Surgery & Emergencies (1 day workshop)
  • Perio, Flaps & Grafts (1 day workshop)
  • Fixed Orthodontics (3 Modules, 6 days workshop)
  • Implantology (2 modules, 5 days workshop)

  • All procedures need to performed on extracted teeth

  • Biomechanical preparation (Manual & Rotary)
  • Obturation
  • Use of different rotary file systems

  • Use of lasers on Chicken legs & vegetables

  • Suturing Techniques on chicken legs

  • Posterior composite restorations on extracted teeth
  • Anterior composite restorations on extracted teeth

  • Cephalometrics ( Based on participants interest)
  • Braces bonding on models

  • Placing dummy implants on styrofoam jaws
  • Implant Impression techniques on models

  • Minimum 22 Root Canal Treatments (Anteriors + Posteriors)
  • Usage of Endodontics Loupes on Patients ( Based on participants interest & Case availability )
  • Post and core – Fiber post
  • Few Re- RCT Cases
  • Usage of various file systems on patients

  • Minimum 20 Crown Preparations (Anteriors + Posteriors)
  • FPD Cementations ( Based on participants interest)
  • Retraction Cord & Rubber base Impressions (Whenever required)
  • Removable Partial Dentures ( Based on participants interest & Case availability )
  • Recording Jaw Relations ( Based on participants interest & Case availability )
  • FMR cases (based on availability)

  • Extractions
  • Surgical extractions / Disimpactions

  • Anterior and Posterior Composite Restorations
  • Smile Designing cases (based on availability)
  • Ellis fractured restorations (based on availability)
  • Tooth Jewels ( Participant can convince their patients for tooth jewels, AIAD will provide the Tooth Jewel))

  • Deciduous teeth extractions
  • Pulpectomy

  • Crown Lengthening
  • Deep curettages
  • Operculectomy (based on availability)
  • Lesion Removal (based on availability)

  • New case for Bonding of braces
